PWFL Nominations

This is the nomination system of the Powerlifting & Weightlifting Federation Luxembourg. It is where clubs and national coaches register their lifters for PWFL-sanctioned competitions, and where officials, athletes, and the public can follow who is entered.

The goal is simple: replace scattered spreadsheets and email threads with one clear, rules-aware place to nominate athletes — so entries stay accurate, deadlines are respected, and published start lists can be trusted.

What this platform does

  • Keeps a shared registry of athletes and their clubs
  • Runs the two-stage preliminary → final nomination flow
  • Enforces deadlines, age categories, and weight classes
  • Publishes clear start lists with CSV and PDF exports
How it is organised

Built around how PWFL competitions actually run.

The workflow follows IPF-style competition structure, so the federation, clubs, and the public each get the view they need without anyone re-learning the rules every season.

Roles & groups

Federation admins run competitions; club and national coaches manage the athletes in their own groups.

  • • Each coach sees only the clubs they manage.
  • • Competitions move from draft to open to locked to archived.
  • • Optional quotas cap lifters per group or class.

Athlete registry

Athletes are stored once with their date of birth, membership number, and club, then reused across competitions.

  • • Age categories are calculated automatically per competition.
  • • Coaches can add lifters one at a time or import a CSV.
  • • Records stay consistent from season to season.

Public start lists

Once a competition opens its lists, anyone can see who is nominated — grouped by sex, age, and weight class.

  • • Goodlift-style tables that are easy to read.
  • • CSV and PDF exports for officials and media.
  • • No account needed to view published nominations.
How nominations work

A two-stage process: preliminary, then final.

Every PWFL championship is nominated in two stages. The platform makes clear what coaches can change, when they can change it, and when a list becomes final.

Stage 1 · Preliminary

  • • Coaches enter every athlete they intend to bring.
  • • The athlete's age division is fixed once entered.
  • • Reserves and entry totals are recorded per lifter.

Stage 2 · Final

  • • Only lifters from the preliminary list can be confirmed.
  • • Weight-class changes are allowed until the final deadline.
  • • Submitting the final list locks it for publishing.
